Hosted Rabbi Rick Jacobs, President, Union for Reform Judaism
After a morning of prayer and contemplation, join these small-group learning sessions with rabbis, artists and teachers, to explore the big question of Yom Kippur: What does God want from us?
During the High Holy Days, how can we transform ourselves and transform the world? At its core, Judaism and the High Holy Days are all about transformation; we can change ourselves, and we can change the world. There is brokenness in every corner of the world and within each of us. In response, some of us focus on our own spiritual growth while others spend their energy fighting for a more just and compassionate world. Which is more urgent? Can we do both simultaneously? We will wrestle with these weighty questions on our holiest day.
