For Central Members 65+
Join us for a Tu BiSh’vat Seder, as we celebrate the Jewish New Year of trees! Observed on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Sh’vat at a time when trees in Israel are first starting to bloom, modern Jews celebrate it as a day of environmental awareness, expressing joy and thankfulness for trees, harvests, and the natural world. At our Seder we will dine on the seven Biblical species (“A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive oil and honey [Deut. 8:8].”) – and share stories about our own roots.
Help our Synagogue continue to shine brightly as a force of optimism and hope by donating to our annual campaign. Your gift will help support everything that makes Central unique and special.
