What is the World Zionist Congress?

The World Zionist Congress, established by Theodor Herzl in 1897, is the democratically elected international body which gives Diaspora Jews like us a voice in shaping Israel’s future.

Taking place every five years, the World Zionist Congress is known as “the parliament of the Jewish People,” where 525 elected delegates from around the globe will meet in Jerusalem from October 28-30, 2025 to make key decisions in how to allocate over $1 billion annually to support needs across Israeli society.

Why Should I Vote Reform?

Voting for Rabbi Buchdahl and entire slate of ARZA (Association of Reform Zionists of America) delegates helps ensure that Israel reflects our Reform Jewish values: equality, democracy, pluralism, justice and peace in Israel.

Your vote will help advance pluralism and secure resources for Reform synagogues, rabbis, and values in Israel, safeguard the rights of minorities, women, and the LGBTQ+ community in Israel and influence the allocation of $1 billion annually to causes that impact Israel and the global Jewish community.
