A Recap: Congregational Town Hall Meeting

March 5, 2019 | General News | Worship and High Holidays

We held a Congregational Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, March 5, at 6:00 pm in our Main Sanctuary. At this gathering Rabbi Angela Buchdahl shared findings from our recently completed High Holy Days Experience Survey, and discussed some of the changes that are being proposed, including improvements to our High Holy Days service schedule.

As a reminder, the goal of this survey was to examine our High Holy Days with an eye towards strengthening the powerful, community-building, transformative, worship experience that reflects our highest values of Jewish community.

Nearly 1,000 members took part in the survey, representing approximately 30% of our households. It was heartwarming to me, our clergy team, and our leadership, to learn the feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with 96% of our respondents reporting that they would recommend our High Holy Day services.

We hope to be able to answer some preliminary questions regarding our changes to the High Holy Days worship experience with this FAQ.
