Lese Center for Living Judaism

Lese Center for Living Judaism

LCLJ, the Lese Center for Living Judaism,* offers a new and improved approach to Jewish education for students grades pre-K through 12.

Our students engage in relevant, meaningful, and fun learning led by a team of LCLJ educators dedicated to creating Jewish learning opportunities that stimulate and challenge students to understand what it means to live as a modern Reform Jew. Using a project-based learning (PBL) approach, students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time investigating and responding to a complex question, problem, or challenge.

We operate in two Manhattan locations: Central’s Midtown building on Lexington Avenue and 55th Street, and our downtown satellite location at the Hebrew Union College

*Formerly the Sahra & William Lese Religious School
