Since October 7, many of us have been ein milim—without words. Yet poets can capture the feelings we struggle to express, providing a vocabulary for grappling with the incomprehensible. Join our resident shlichah (Israeli emissary) Michal Abramoff and poetry professor and Central Synagogue Rabbi Sivan Rotholz as we read and reflect on Israeli poetry about October 7. Together, we'll explore how this tragic day has impacted Israelis and the Jewish community worldwide. A Middle Eastern lunch will be served.
