You get a hit Israeli television series called The New Jew, that entertains and upends expectations. Meet Guri Alfi, the star of The New Jew, and series creators Asaf Nawi and Moshe Samuels as they join Central Synagogue’s Rabbi Angela Buchdahl and Romemu’s Rabbi David Ingber to screen select clips from the show and discuss the ways it’s changing the conversation in Israel about American Judaism. Central Synagogue and Rabbi Buchdahl are prominently featured in the first episode.
