What is Sleep? Sleep Wellness 101:How to better understand your own sleep to improve it

Ruthie Nachmany, certified sleep coach and founder of The Rest, will lead a discussion on what sleep is, why we do it, the connection between sleep and other aspects of health and wellness, and what you should know about your own sleep in order to improve it. We’ll cover sleep challenges and recommendations, and conclude with a discussion around sleep challenges presented by COVID-19 and tactics for getting good sleep right now. The talk will also touch on the Jewish concept of a day of rest, and how that relates to sleep, rest, and overall wellness. There will be an opportunity for Q&A at the end.

Ruthie has also opened up a few complimentary sleep consultations for Central Synagogue members as part of the workshop. We will send a signup link for these sessions to anyone who attends the lecture.
