For thousands of years, bread has represented life for people around the world. From rural farmers in Morocco to urbanites here in New York City, bread is a staple. More so, it holds a special place in Jewish tradition. We have a special blessing just for bread, and eating it is a piece of most holiday celebrations. It is integral to us spiritually, physically, and communally. Because of the unique role bread plays in our lives, its deeper meaning is worthy of exploration. Come learn with Ted Dreier, Jewish educator and baker, as we discover a deeper personal and Jewish connection to bread. And don’t worry, there will be lots of bread to taste!
