Families with Children All Ages
Celebrate Tu BiSh’vat, a holiday of environmental awareness and gratitude for our natural world, by reusing and recycling. Join Bash the Trash, an organization that builds, performs, and educates with musical instruments made from recycled and reused materials, as they lead this family program, combining a show, hands-on instrument-building, and a noisy and fun parade/jam session. Space is limited.
Bash the Trash Bio: Bash the Trash is a group of musicians and teaching artists, weaving together science, music, and environmental awareness. Come see what all the noise is about with this unique group who have jammed with Yo-Yo Ma and Wynton Marsalis, visited Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, led environmental parades through Washington, D.C., and still perform twice a year at Carnegie Hall.
