Children ages 8 and up are welcome and must be accompanied by their parents
On Passover we are commanded, let all who are hungry, come and eat. As an extension of Central’s work around hunger and food insecurity, you and your family can begin Passover preparations by doing this mitzvah with the Met Council. This is an in-person event, and PPE will be distributed to all participants.

Two different 45 minute sessions for varying age groups
Children in grades 3 and up are invited to join Central’s YFE department for a virtual, Passover-themed scavenger hunt. The Amazing Race will have you searching for pyramids, chametz (bread), and even some of the 10 Plagues through the Goosechase app, which needs to be downloaded ahead of time. A second device is needed for Zoom so we can all scavenge together.

How can the lessons from the Exodus story help us better understand issues of mass incarceration? Rabbi Hilly Haber, Rabbi Nicole Auerbach, and John Ducksworth of the multi-faith initiative Ending Mass Incarceration will join with other leaders for an interactive conference that will include an engaging panel conversation, breakout room workshops, and musical performances.
