Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon for this great chance to connect virtually in-person with Central’s clergy team. A different member of our clergy team—or a special guest!—will share a favorite text, a new piece of music or arrangement, answer questions, or even lead a short cooking segment.

Monday, February 22:Rabbi Nicole Auerbach will join diversity advocate, writer, educator, and Jewish community builder, Tema Smith, for a discussion on invisible disabilities.


Tuesday, February 23: Start your Purim celebrations early with a look at Purim-inspired art shared by Rabbi Sarah Berman and special guest Warren Klein, Curator of the Bernard Museum of Judaica at Temple Emanu-El.


Thursday, February 18: Rabbi Ari Lorge and Cantor Julia Cadrain are back for “Sunday in the Park With Lorge…and Cadrain: Episode 10,” as they continue their deep dive into the musical catalogue of Stephen Sondheim. Each episode focuses on a song from Sondheim’s acclaimed career in musical theatre. Join them for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and great music. Download the lyrics ahead of time here.

A Conversation for Parents with Rabbi Rebecca Rosenthal and Dr. Lisa Martin

Come together with a community of families to discuss current events and resources to talk to your kids about race.

Joining Rabbi Rosenthal for the conversation is Dr. Lisa Martin.

Dr. Lisa Martin is a licensed clinical psychologist, consultant, and trainer. Dr. Martin is the former director of the Martha K. Selig Educational Institute at the Jewish Board, co-leader of the Jewish Board’s anti-racist initiative and adjunct professor at NYU. Currently, Dr. Martin maintains a private practice in New York and Tampa and specializes in trauma, grief, women’s issues, and racial identity. She also provides training and consultation services to organizations helping them build healthier and more equitable work environments.
