Central Synagogue at UJA-Federation of New York’s Day of Service

Location: See full details in the description below

From: Saturday-Sunday, January 14-15, 2017

On MLK Day weekend, thousands of New Yorkers in communities across the city will come together to volunteer, side by side, on projects that address our community’s most pressing needs.

Let’s make this MLK Day really matter. Join fellow Central Synagogue members as we make a difference through UJA’s nonprofit partners. We are offering two high-impact volunteer projects over the weekend:

Family-Friendly Project – All Ages Welcome
Saturday, January 14, 2:00-4:00pm • JCC Manhattan
Help put together care packages for families in need.

Project for Teens & Adults
Sunday, January 15, 12:30-4:30pm • Ed Alliance’s Sirovich Center
Roll up your sleeves and help refurbish the Sirovich Center, a community center for local seniors in need that provides hot meals, programs for recreation and wellness, and social activities with peers.

Registration is now closed.

MLK Day of Service is brought to you by UJA’s Time for Good, a signature volunteer initiative that aims to bring the community together around meaningful acts of service.
