Women Rabbis and the Transformation of Jewish Life: Breaking Boundaries, Building Communities

Location: Pavilion

From: 2:00 pm - 4:00pm

Details:

Open to all • $18 per person

In fewer than five decades, women rabbis have transformed Jewish life around the world, breaking boundaries on the bimah and beyond. Join four pioneering rabbis – Sally Priesand, Angela Buchdahl, Dianne Cohler-Esses, and Lila Kagedan – in conversation with Judith Rosenbaum of the Jewish Women’s Archive, as they reflect on their own journeys; their experiences as spiritual leaders, teachers, and communal activists; the creative interplay of tradition and innovation; and their visions for the future.

To learn more about these trailblazing rabbis, please visit JWA’s newest online exhibit, Women Rabbis.

Women Rabbis and the Transformation of Jewish Life is co-sponsored by the Jewish Women’s Archive, Central Synagogue, CCAR, JOFA, and Romemu.
