Abortion and Jewish Tradition

Tuesday, May 24, 2022, 7:30–8:30 pm

Virtual

What does Jewish tradition have to say about abortion? A lot, actually.

With abortion rights once again in the news, it is important to understand the legal and ethical framing that Judaism provides for this complex issue. We will read and discuss key texts from our tradition, guided by our own Rabbi Rebecca Rosenthal. Together, we will gain understanding about Judaism’s stance on this hot-button issue. This class is for Central Members, Neighbors, 20s and 30s, and Center for Exploring Judaism participants. Please check your email for registration information.
