Caryn Eschen M.S. is a Parent Educator at Central Synagogue’s Parenting Center and Nursery School. For more than twenty years, Caryn has been involved in developing and leading workshops, group discussions, and classes about overcoming the many challenges of parenthood. With an undergraduate degree in psychology and a graduate degree in lifespan development, Caryn considers herself a “true developmentalist” and believes there are certain life stages that all people pass through as they mature. It is her belief that by learning and fully understanding these stages, parents are better prepared to anticipate their children’s needs, as well as to develop effective parenting skills and practices to help each child reach their full potential.
A mother of two and recent grandmother, Caryn knows that parenthood is an exciting journey that can be both challenging and exhausting, but always rewarding! While everyone’s journey is different, together with parents and caregivers, she helps families to accept, enjoy, and grow together.
