Rachel Kaplan joined Central’s Adult Engagement team in January 2022 as the Program Manager for Adult Education and Relational Programs. Working primarily with Rabbis Auerbach and Berman, Rachel helps oversee Central’s adult learning opportunities, CORE Groups, and relational engagement. Prior to Central, Rachel worked at Temple Shaaray Tefila in a variety of roles, most recently as the Member Experience, Events, and B’nei Mitzvah Program Manager. Rachel received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Binghamton University and will graduate from Baruch College in May 2023 with a Master of Public Administration/Nonprofit Management. She is passionate about professional development and has been the recipient of several fellowships from UJA Federation of New York. Rachel grew up in Bergen County, New Jersey and currently lives on the Upper East Side where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring the city, doing the New York Times Crossword Puzzle, and buying fresh flowers every week.
