Julia Tecotzky
Program Manager for Social Justice

Julia Tecotzky joined Central Synagogue in 2022 as the Program Manager for Social Justice. Born and raised on the Upper West Side, she is passionate about building a more equitable NYC for all. She graduated from Barnard College in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. Throughout college, she taught health classes in NYC high schools and interned at various criminal justice non-profits. Most recently, she worked as a Paralegal at New York County Defender Services, a public defender office in Manhattan. When she's not working at Central, Julia enjoys exploring Prospect Park, listening to live music, and spending time with her loved ones. She lives in Brooklyn with her partner and giant tabby cat.
