Eva works in the Lese Center for Living Judaism as a full-time educator.

Originally from Frederick, Maryland, Eva was a member of Beth Sholom Congregation where she attended Religious School and joined the Madrichim program (assisting educators and working one-on-one with students). Eva attended Syracuse University, earning her Bachelor’s in Education and Modern Jewish Studies. She spent a semester abroad in Israel at Tel Aviv University, where she furthered her Jewish learning. Upon her return, she pursued her Master’s in Social Work (MSW).

Deepening her passion for the Jewish community, Eva often spent her summers working at Jewish summer camps. She worked at Camp Shoresh, for 3 summers, and the overnight Capital Camps for 5 summers. Eva was involved in USY and taught at Adath Yeshurun’s Religious School in Syracuse, NY for about 3 years.

A fun fact about Eva is that she loves Old Bay seasoning!
