Mission

Mission Statement

The mission of the Sahra and William Lese Religious School at Central Synagogue is to cultivate in our children a desire for and commitment to lifelong involvement in the Jewish community by providing them with compelling learning experiences that deepen their understanding of and personal connection to Judaism.

We pursue this goal by helping our children explore their own relationships with God, learn about Jewish history and tradition, begin to understand our sacred texts, and develop the ability to participate meaningfully in Jewish ritual. Family involvement in this process is essential to our mission.
