Central Synagogue’s Early Childhood Center encompasses the May Family Nursery School, the Parenting Center, and synagogue-wide Early Childhood programs.
We are convinced that the teaching of Jewish values, traditions, and ritual are vital to our children’s early development. Through the natural order of the calendar, Jewish ritual permeates all early childhood programs, with the celebration of Shabbat and holidays and the study of Jewish culture.
“Very nurturing in the early years, but the 4s program is very inventive and academic. DC learned a lot. We also had a very good exmissions experience/result, if that is something that matters to you. Susan Alpert is helpful with exmissions, but is realistic. She tries hard to match families where they will be happy.” (from Urbanbaby.com)
