According to current reports the catastrophic earthquake in Haiti has killed more than 50,000 people, decimated entire families and caused unimaginable devastation. Many thousands are injured, hungry and homeless. Their scars will last forever.
Our prayers and thoughts are with the people of Haiti and their families. Many still await news about their loved ones or are already mourning their loss. We must help. We must be our brothers’ and sisters’ keepers.
Together as a congregation, we have pledged $10,000 to support the Union for Reform Judaism’s Earthquake Relief Fund.
In addition to our congregational donation, you may also choose to make a donation of money or goods to the URJ Fund or to any of the following Jewish organizations, which have established relief efforts:
Thank you,
