CiTY, Central Synagogue's Youth Group, a vibrant and socially active group of teenagers ranging from 9th - 12th grade, is a teen-run program led by youth advisor Greg Weitzman. This year, CiTY will be running trips that range from lobbying congress on Jewish issues in Washington D.C., to feeding New York City's many homeless during "Midnight Run," and visiting colleges around the Northeast. We can also always be found hanging in our youth lounge on the third floor of the Community House during our monthly meetings. Whether you are looking for another social group or a new leadership experience, CiTY is here to meet the needs of our teens at Central Synagogue. Stay posted for all of CiTY's upcoming events.

This year Central Synagogue is expanding its youth programming to span all grade levels. Mini-CiTY is a youth group tailored towards the 7th and 8th grade members of Central Synagogue. We will be taking part in social action programs written for you by the teenage members of CiTY. We will also have dinner together and even get a chance to go on day events inside and outside of the city. Mini-CiTY will give you a chance to get a taste of what being in CiTY is really all about!

We will soon be launching "56 Club" for Central Synagogue members in the 5th and 6th grades. We'll be meeting four or five times a year, taking part in social action events and just hanging out in the Youth Lounge.
