Sahra and William Lese Religious School

The eighth and ninth grade curriculum will address several topics including Jewish holidays, anti-Semitism, Jewish views on war, interfaith and interracial relations, God and Israel. Using a variety of techniques including creative writing, role playing and text study, students will also engage in personal exploration as they consider peer relationships, forgiveness, making difficult choices, identity formation and personalizing Judaism. Students will investigate what it means to accept Judaism's invitation to be the best version of ourselves.
