The second grade curriculum centers around the idea that we learn, worship, and act as Jews B’Yachad (together). Synagogues originally served a twofold purpose – house of worship and community center, and we will impart this original vision onto our students while teaching them the importance and values of community life. Students will learn about their own Jewish community, different communities around the world, and how each of them live and pray in unique ways.
