Central Synagogue’s Early Childhood Programs include both the May Family Nursery School and the Parenting Center. Both the Nursery School and the Parenting Center provide a warm, healthy Jewish learning environment where each child is encouraged to reach optimal development in his or her pre-kindergarten years. Professional, caring experienced teachers work cooperatively with children to meet their emotional, social, intellectual and academic needs. We provide creative, hands-on, developmentally appropriate learning environments where children can gain confidence and competence.

Just as we believe that cognitive, social-emotional and pre-academic development are crucial in the early years, we are convinced that the teaching of Jewish values, traditions and ritual are equally vital. Through the natural order of the calendar, Jewish ritual permeates the classroom flowing from month to month. We take up this divine call to pass along to our children the love and joy of our faith.
