How have the recent election of Obama in the US and Netanyahu in Israel affected US-Israel relations? Has Obama changed US policy of support for Israel? Where does Netanyahu stand vis a vis his “right wing government”? How do the issues of the Iranian threat and the Palestinians intersect?
Noted scholar Fred Lazin, a professor of local government at Ben-Gurion University, will speak on current issues facing Israel. Professor Lazin has written and lectured extensively on topics including politics and society, immigration, housing, Jews in American politics and the Holocaust.
