Members of Central Synagogue are invited to help repair the world by volunteering. Please note that due to logistics, we can only accept volunteers who are members of Central Synagogue.

Throughout the year, Central Synagogue will be involved with PS 84, a public elementary school at 32 West 92 Street, offering support to its staff, teachers, students and parents.
The following will be activities in which you can be involved:
  • Help in the Library
  • Share your hobby at "clubs" (This might include art, music, acting, knitting, dancing, etc.)
  • Mentor children in reading and writing after school, during the time from 3-6pm
  • Help teachers in classrooms with children who need extra help.
