Director of Marketing
eWayDirect is recruiting for a hands-on Director of Marketing to develop and implement successful integrated marketing strategies and lead generation campaigns. This role is based in Southport, Conn. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing interactive agency with proprietary SaaS based technology for online acquisition, email marketing, website marketing, and social networking as well as a full suite of professional, creative, strategic and search engine marketing services
We are looking for a candidate with a successful marketing track record, and outstanding people skills, who is a creative and innovative thinker. You will work and interface with a range of internal departments, external organizations, and have direct links to the sales team.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute eWayDirect’s integrated marketing plan
- Manage the creative services team
- Develop online and interactive marketing programs
- Oversee public relations initiatives including press releases, client advisories, etc.
- Design and produce marketing support materials
- Identify opportunities for thought leadership, including conferences and publications
- Oversee event planning for the Company
- Execute social networking, WOM and viral marketing campaigns for lead generation
- Identify processes to benchmark and measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and communicate the results across the organization

The Global Marketing Director will have overall responsibility and accountability for the marketing and business development operations of Eka. His/her objective will be to increase the level of sales for the Company, while at the same time enhancing and improving the positioning and image of the brand. The ideal candidate has experience selling / marketing software to the Commodity/ Energy Trading and Risk Management Software Industry, and is willing to travel frequently in the US/ Europe and Internationally.
Key responsibilities will include:
Strategy Development, Planning and Reporting
- Prepare overall marketing strategy together with advisors, partners and senior business management
- Develop programs with quantifiable objectives to measure results
- Analyze market trends, recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback
- Prepare and manage the overall marketing and business development budget including the lead generation activities
- Demonstrate a significant understanding of the Commodity/ Energy Trading and Risk Management Software Industry
Partners / Relationship Management
- Identify, analyse, pursue and report on business opportunities with existing and prospective clients
- Develop and enhance business relationships fostering existing and new business and heighten awareness of the Company
- Identify, build and management partnership network
Public Relations Management
- Build and maintain a high performance culture through effective performance management, communication and coaching of staff

Senior Marketing Manager
Growing Worldwide Dental Manufacturer seeks a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager in our corporate office in Lakewood, N.J . This position will report directly to the Director of WW Marketing and will be a key player in the implementation of a new ERP system. Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement domestic target marketing program to create end user awareness and sales opportunities in dental schools, large group practices, general dentistry, dealer and other end user accounts
- Develop plan to measure ROI on all major marketing spends
- Marketing team leader responsible for ERP implementation
- Product management and analysis
- Market analysis of existing diamond and carbide products in focus global markets
- Business development to include market analysis of potential product categories for SS White to enter globally
- Product line extension team member with project management responsibility
- Manage website redevelopment project
- Experience in managing creative agencies and external partners
Requirements
- BS in Marketing or related discipline. At least 7 years of combined experience in analytical marketing area
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a senior manager responsible for brand or product marketing in a fast moving consumer goods category, medical technology, or pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in the areas of strategy, market analysis, financial modeling and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of consultative selling techniques
- Experience in working in entrepreneurial environments is preferred. Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements of medical devices (FDA, ISO 13485, etc.) is required.
- Must be well organized, flexible, deadline oriented and able to multi-task. Excellent skills in MS software
- Experience developing marketing workshops and delivering training would be an advantage
