Andrue Kahn is joining Central Synagogue as the Fifth grade lead for 2011-2012. Andrue grew up in Tacoma, Washington, and went on to study religion for both his BA at Kenyon College and his MA at Queen’s University. He recently completed a Masters in Hebrew Bible and Near Eastern Languages at Jewish Theological Seminary, and is excited to adapt his studies in a way that will engage and affect the new generation of Jewish thinkers at Central Synagogue.

He has participated in Jewish communities in many different settings, from the tiny congregation in Tacoma to his year spent abroad in Israel, and is excited to become an involved member of the Central Synagogue community.
