Sam is looking forward to beginning her third year as a full time teacher. A native New Yorker, she graduated from Union College majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Religious Studies. Her senior thesis focused on one of her passions, Jewish summer camps and posting Jewish identity in young people. She is a lifelong veteran of the Union for Reform Judaism camps and believes that bringing a fun and exciting camp approach into the classroom is the key to creating a great learning environment.
In her spare time Sam enjoys live music, travel, exploring Brooklyn and taking advantage of the culinary capital of the world, New York City.
Members enjoy benefits such as our award-winning religous schools, music and lecture events, high holy day priority seating and much more.
