Early Education at Central Synagogue**If you would like to request an application for Nursery School, Please Click here Central Synagogue's Early Childhood Program provides a warm, healthy learning environment where each child is encouraged to reach optimal development in his or her pre-kindergarten years. Professional, experienced, caring teachers work cooperatively with children in an explorative, hands-on environment to meet their emotional, social, intellectual and academic needs. Throughout the Parenting Center and Nursery School Programs teachers work with the children to foster confidence and competence in developmentally appropriate classrooms through art, water and sand play, music, literature, expressive writing, science, cooking, dramatic play, trips and discussions. We respect each child's unique individuality and encourage the development of group life. The SNAP (Special Nurturing Achievement Program) meets the needs of children who are best supported in a low stimulus classroom with attention given to language, socialization, sensory integration and developmental issues.
