Becca grew up in Sarasota, Florida, and graduated from Tulane University where she studied history and political science. There, Becca developed her love of education through her programming internship at the National World War II Museum and volunteer work in the New Orleans Recovery School District. Becca’s Jewish education has grown and expanded over many years as a camper and staff member at URJ Camp Coleman in Cleveland, Georgia. For six summers, she worked primarily with grades 9-12 and their Machon (staff-in-training) program. Through camping, her family, and her previous work at Central, Becca has found a passion in Jewish youth engagement and education. In addition to being the Director of Teen Engagement, Becca oversees URJ Camp Recruitment and works closely with our team of full-time educators to bring Jewish learning to life. Becca is currently pursuing her master’s in Educational Leadership, Politics, and Advocacy at NYU.
