Trained as a litigator, Lisa left the practice of law many years ago to raise her three children. During those years, she began her own adult Jewish learning journey as a student in the Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning and then became further engaged in Jewish study as a Wexner Heritage Member. After these incredible experiences, she was inspired to continue learning and began on a path toward becoming a Jewish educator. She recently received her Masters of Religious Education from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion where she concentrated on adult Jewish learning, particularly making Judaism relevant for today’s world. Her vision is to teach and learn with Jewish adults who are looking for meaning and connection in our Jewish texts and Jewish story. She believes the Melton curriculum and methodology is incredibly powerful and provides an excellent foundation for a lifetime of Jewish learning.
